Youth become eligible to join scouting in 5th grade or at age 11. Fifth graders who are not yet 11 become eligible March 1st. We typically meet new scouts in the winter & spring and welcome them at the first meeting in the fall, but we can take off-cycle members as the calendar allows. We look forward to meeting you!

in the late fall for 4th-6th graders or join a Tuesday meeting that works for you.
2. Submit paperwork. Each person registering should submit a medical form as well as an application. Adults who want to join scout outings need to be registered with the troop and complete the short online youth protection training.

3. Pay dues. New scout dues are $275 and adults are $100 for the year. This covers a new scout kit, activities, and Scouting America registration. It can be paid by check or venmo.

- Have a parent attend a Troop Committee meeting & read the troop's Practices & Policies for helpful hints
- Start planning for your first campout!
