Troop 80 is a self-sustaining organization that supports our scouting adventures through profits from this fundraiser. It also helps us build fiscal awareness and introduce our scouts to life skills around communication, salesmanship, and taking initiative.

This year we’re saving money to visit Longhorn Caverns, the USS Lexington, and Padre Island National Seashore, compete in an orienteering meet, and celebrate our troop’s 80th anniversary.

​We have sold hand-crafted greenery fresh cut in Minnesota and Oregon for over 15 years. Our customers rave about the product quality – often giving it as gifts. This year we're excited to add locally harvested oak and hickory firewood.

Wreaths

Handcrafted from fresh cut Noble and Balsam Fir boughs and decorated with Ponderosa pine cones and big, beautiful fabric bows, our evergreen wreaths come in four styles. They measure 25 inches in diameter and feature a variety of decor elements specific to each style: jingle bells, shatterproof satin ornaments, gold juniper twigs, and faux berry stems, Wreaths make wonderful corporate gifts and can be shipped outside Dallas. Live Christmas Tree

​This live Christmas tree is perfect for holiday decorating in small spaces around the home or office. 40 inches tall, it arrives in a festive carton with all the trimmings so you can decorate: garland, ornaments, pinecone pins, LED lights, star topper. The Million Tree Planting Program

Each holiday season our greenery vendor, Mickman Brothers, uses hundreds of tons of sustainably harvested fresh evergreen boughs to hand-craft wreaths, door sprays, garlands, and centerpieces. In 2007, they kicked off a Million Tree Planting Program to enrich our forests with even more trees. To date, they have funded the planting of more than 800,000 evergreen seedlings in state and federal forests across 49 states. They are also proud founding members of the Minnesota Balsam Bough Partnership, which developed methods for sustainably harvesting balsam boughs and enforcing their practice through licensing. For over 35 years, this program has helped build a thriving industry while protecting Minnesota's forests for years to come.
